Color Management - What is Color?

In the world of color digital printing, color management is the main component in producing a final printed piece that is what the designer designed. Without color management, your colors won't be correct and they won't stay the same.

But, how do you manage color if you aren't quite sure what color is? What? Who doesn't know what color is? I'll answer that with another question, "What is red?" Can you describe what red is without using red in the description and even if you do, can you really describe red?

It's not a trick question but understanding what color is goes a long way in helping to manage it in the printing process.
